What is the application process?
All applications can be completed online. A current State-issued Drivers License or photo ID are required with the application, along with proof of income (3 most recent paystubs). This documentation can be uploaded online or brought into the property. We process all applications through SafeRent and may conditionally approve your application(s) while you wait. All applications are given final approval by the Property Manager within 72 hours.
Is there a minimum income requirement?
Yes. Your total income must be at least 2.5 times the portion of your rent you are responsible for. If you do not meet the minimum income requirement, you have the option of applying with a guarantor. For more information, contact the leasing office.
How do I know if my application will be conditionally approved through SafeRent?
Your SafeRent rental score results from a mathematical analysis of information found in your consumer credit report, application, and previous rental history. To better understand the scoring criteria, click here.
What is the application fee?
The application fee is $50 per applicant. The fee is non-refundable given the fact that it covers the cost of processing your application.
What is the advanced rental deposit for and
how much is it?
A $100-$250 advanced rental deposit is due upon completion of the application. The fee reserves the apartment for you while the application is processed. Once your application is approved, the advanced rental deposit will be applied to your first months rent upon move-in. If your application is not approved, the advanced rental deposit will be refunded.
How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit will be waived for residents who purchase an eDeposit insurance policy through ePremium Insurance. This alternative must be bundled with a current ePremium renters insurance policy. Please contact the property for current ePremium rates. In the case where residents opt to pay a standard deposit, the amount starts at $500-$600, and may be higher depending on credit. The amount is due at time of move in.
Are there additional storage options?
Yes! Additional storage is available for $55-$125 per month.

All utilities are included!
What is your parking policy?
Carillon House offers garage parking for $175/ month.
Do you offer furnished apartments?
Yes! All apartments can have a furniture package added that includes all major furnishings and basic kitchen tools.
How many people can live in each floor plan type?
Standard occupancy is 2 persons per bedroom
What if my apartment of choice isn't available?
If the apartment style you wish to apply for is not currently available, then we will gladly accept your completed application and applicable processing fees for our VIP Waitlist. Your application will have to be re-processed if your apartment of choice does not become available within 60 days. Check with your Sales Consultant for more details.

Carillon House Apartments is a nice place to live. Firstly, all staff (leasing officer, front office/concierge team members and maintenance staff) are professional and responsive! I love it. It is spacious just what I needed. The kitchen was newly renovated. The rooftop has the best view of all Washington DC!!! My apartment unit facing Calvert Street is quite, not loud. The complex is within a half mile of Safeway, Trader Joe's, and CVS. It's also an easy mile walk to Georgetown. The windows are huge bringing in tons of natural light. Our apartment was newly renovated with modern lights and appliances. There's a fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and gas stove in the kitchen, along with a garbage disposal. Utilities and WiFi are also included. The AC works great, and the WiFi is fast. There's also on-site laundry and a gym.- Carillon House Resident

Carillon House located in Washington D.C is such a nice apartment. The leasing agent (Michelle Chambers) is by far the nicest leasing agent I have worked with.
